Legion of Mary
Silent Retreat
Friday, July 19 through Sunday, July 21, 2013

“The spiritual legacy contained within the life and writings of St. Louis Marie de Montfort is one of the truly great treasures of the Roman Catholic Church. The task of bringing the full wealth of that treasure to the faithful is the heart of the mission of the Missionaries of the Company of Mary (Montfort Missionaries), the community of those priests and brothers who have been consecrated to follow his footsteps.”
From the back cover of Preparation for Total Consecration to Jesus Christ Through Mary by Fr. Hugh Gillespie, SMM

We are honored to have Fr. Hugh Gillespie as our retreat master this year. Ordained to the priesthood as a Montfort Missionary by Bishop Gilles Cote, SMM, Bishop of Papua, New Guinea, he pursued his theological studies at St. Louis University, Fordham and Weston Jesuit School of Theology with M. Div. and STL degrees.

Fr. Gillespie will speak about the True Devotion to Mary and why it is for every serious Catholic, and compare the True Devotion writings of St. Louis de Montfort to the spirituality of the Legion of Mary. There will be something profound for everyone who attends, whether or not they are members of the Legion. Guests are welcome. Be ready for an awesome retreat!
